GlobalVision follows 5 Principles defining the unique character and method of Glovi events
As creators of visions and change, people make the difference. We put the VIPs and mentors of change as well as “never heard of” visionaries in the mix
Glovi brings together visionary scholars, business leaders, civic activists, and policymakers from six continents. They include Nobel laureates, heads of state, grassroots campaigners, and academic specialists in fields ranging from natural science and cultural studies to the fields of economics and politics – all of whom bring to bear the credibility, diversity, and high-quality analysis that discussions on the challenges of humanity demand. Furthermore, we invite visionary and engaged citizens from around the world to present their ideas and join the open debates about issues of global concern. Everyone attending comes together with the sole purpose to advance the common good by seeking cooperative solutions to collective challenges.

Beyond technology – our exhibition displays the most diverse and unique ideas and visions including ALL topics
We want to allow the participants of Glovi to choose the topics they talk about freely and independently. This does not allow us to accept direct sponsorship from the industry, political parties, faith groups or lobbies. In response, we decided to turn to multiple foundations and private sponsors, in the hope that they will enable us to have an independent and self-directed dialogue on a scientific event and produce credible knowledge with a global reach.
Support a Glovi Event
Visions and Ideas are the fuel for the future – the more extraordinary and creative the better. The event shows thinking out of the box in all elements. Participants are in charge of topics, methods and invited guests.
Not only does Glovi create events focussing on discussions and exchange but asks the participants to decide what is to happen at a Glovi event. The development of a Glovi event is only possible with participants suggesting the topics that should be discussed, the methods used to discuss the topics and other visionary persons that should be invited. This makes a Glovi event a space where participants can engage and express their ideas using a variety of methods and talk about the topics that really matter.
Fair opportunities allow true diversity. We build an enabling partnership-structure that allows people from all over the world to join in and share opportunities
To generate the most diverse audience, we also invite some people that have a lot to say but are not usually fortunate enough to be heard due to a lack of funds. We believe that this is unfair and people should have equal chances to join. While we are trying to keep the costs of Glovi as low as possible for every participant, there is still a need of support for some. To ensure maximal diversity we attempt to generate resources to enable visionaries from all backgrounds to attend through cross funding and grants.
Let’s simply be nice and have a good time. We encourage a cheerful, creative and participatory atmosphere, respect for each other and a lot of opportunity to get-together, exchange and connect
At Glovi we are one community and want to achieve the most fruitful exchange possible. Therefore, we meet on common grounds – everyone attending comes together with the sole purpose to advance the common good by seeking cooperative solutions to collective challenges. We meet in a creative, sociable and productive environment where we are equals and treat each other with respect. Social, economic or political status or personal ego should not stand in the way of an open and fruitful exchange and we invite everyone to join as they are – as human beings.
